Friday’s Rio Nightlife Pick – Sextas de Clubhouse with Godi Oseguerda, at the new chic, design hotel and private-members club, The Clubhouse, is hosting a party tonight that will be filling the dancefloor with a non-stop selection of tunes, from jazz to techno.
On the decks is local DJ Godi Oseguerda, who will be moving from Blue Note to Underground Resistance, through Wave, BBE, Tuff Gong. Set in the hills behind Ipanema, the Clubhouse is fast becoming the go-to place to party. Its three-tired deck has beautiful views out over Rio.

Veterans of the Californian punk and hardcore scene, NOFX take the stage at famed Rio venue, Circo Voador tonight. Headed by iconic producer and frontman Fat Mike (bass and vocals), the current lineup features the talents of Eric Melvin (guitar and vocals), El Hefe (guitar and trumpet) and Eric Sandin (drums). Carioca band Xander will warm things up.

It’s time again for Lapafest at Leviano bar tonight. Singer Lucas de Moraes will start off the night by performing his reinterpretations of works by Zeca Pagodinho, Jorge Aragão, and Clara Nunes, among others.
