Monday’s Rio Nightlife Pick – Bloco do Sargento Pimenta is a musical project conceived to unify two worlds: Beatles’ songs and Brazilian rhythms. Using an original approach, new arrangements were created to put traditional songs in our very own style.

At the Bloco, you will hear “A Hard Day’s Night” as funk, “All My Loving” in marchinha rhythm, a samba version of “I Wanna Hold Your Hand”, among others.

Sargento Pimenta is not just a “Bloco de Carnaval”. It is an initiative started by friends, for all of our friends, and for all people who together share the same dreams and are happy.
