barzinho

Monday’s Rio Nightlife Pick – Check out Barzinho, a cozy new hangout with colorful and chic decor, conveniently located at the heart of Lapa, making it an ideal place to meet for a few beers after work to wind down or kick off the night. Barzinho is the newest addition to Rio’s nightlife, opened by Fabio Batistella and Rodrigo Pena, who also run popular Meza bar/lounge in Humaitá. Any fans of the latter should definitely try the new venue. The program of this unique place includes guest DJs, stand up comedians, theatrical sketches and more, creating a hip and laid-back atmosphere.

Enjoy their tasty menu, which features classic petiscos with a new twist, such as fried chicken coated with parmesan accompanied by catupiry cream. Or you can chill-out with a well earned beer or caipirinha after a tiring work day, while checking out their artful decorations.
