Friday’s Rio Nightlife Pick – Art and music come together in the neighborhood of Gamboa in Rio de Janeiro as Art Rua 2013 begins its three day festival celebrating street art, graffiti, music and culture.
Created in 2011 by the Institute RU.A., in partnership with the production company Visionart’z, Art Rua’s goal is to integrate art into the urban revitalization movement of Rio de Janeiro’s port zone.
This year, the festival will invite more than forty national and international artists to participate in an Urban Art exhibition, as well as in artistic interventions in the streets of the Gamboa district.
