Friday’s Rio Nightlife Pick – Brotherhood is back at Fosfobox, celebrating the birthday of two of Rio’s favorite DJs, Nana Torres and Ricardo Estrella. This special edition commemorates a decade of friendship, two birthdays, and seven years of guest DJ Martin Eyer’s record label Kling Klong. Expect only the best in tech house, acid and more.

Baile do Almeidinha (Lapa)
Almeidinha performs at the Circo Voador with a repertoire of forro, samba, choro, xotes and other Brazilian rhythms for those who like to dance. In honor of Circo Voador’s 30th anniversary, the show is meant to explode. Almeida, Almeida’s brother, will be DJing in between sets, keeping the ball rolling with forró, merengue, kuduro, zouk, salsa, samba, bolero, samba-rock, etc.

Orquestra Tabajara (Lapa)
Nicolas Krassik & Cordestinos and Bondesom come together to bring you a unique night of sound. The northeastern rhythms needed to be “reorquestrada” according to the French violinist Nicolas Krassik, playing the strings of the violin, fiddle and bass along with his group of talented instrumentalists.

Brotherhood (Copacabana)
Nana Torres and Ricardo Estrella bring to Fosfobox another edition of Brotherhood. This party was born in order to celebrate the birthday of the two friends, bringing together friends and family for the past few years. Celebrating this special date with this dynamic duo is German DJ/ producer Martin Eyerer, who will also be celebrating seven years of his label Kling Klong. Other guests include Claudio Brio (SP), Gromma & Malcon Costa (CWB) and Glen (SP). Upstairs the Fosfobar will be run by Ravi Fornari, Nicola Ragattieri, Pedro Isidoro and Betho. The music tonight should pretty much knock your socks off. Happy birthday Nana and Ricardo!

Nuth (Barra da Tijuca)
The biggest thing to hit the streets of Barra & Lagoa. Two locations with the same game plan to make sure the night never ends for those who attend. A mixture of house, hip hop, and pop, this nightclub is sure to light up the night.

Singer and songwriter Moyseis Marques returns to Carioca da Gema to perform his special brand of samba with hits like “Pretinha Jóia Rara”, which was featured on the soap opera “Caminho das Índias”, from Rede Globo.
