Flamengo Soccer Club Plans Museum to Make Gávea Headquarters into Tourist Site

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - A new, modern and spacious home to detail 125 years of history. Flamengo soccer club, which is stacking up soccer trophies in 2019, is already working to showcase its achievements in a European-standard museum as of next year.

The club's 125th anniversary, in November 2020, is expected to see the inauguration of an area at Gávea's headquarters nearly seven times larger than the current one.

Directed by Mude Brasil, the company in charge of museums for Conmebol, Benfica, Juventus, Boca, River and Wembley, the project aims to convert the new Flamengo Museum . . .
