If you travel to Brazil, you’ll want to see Christ the Redeemer. Chances are, you’ve heard about the Statue of Jesus Christ, constructed from 1922 to 1931.
Located on the Corcovado mountain in Rio de Janeiro’s Tijuca National Park, it’s 98 feet high, and its arms stretch 92 feet wide.
2. Copacabana
Millions of people visit Copacabana Beach each year. The beach’s promenade is also world-famous. It was built in 1906, and the design was inspired by Lisbon, Portugal’s Rocio’s Square.
3. Pantanal
Have you heard of Pantanal? It’s the largest flooded grassland on the planet. Pantanal mostly lies inside Mato Grosso do Sul but extends into parts of Bolivia and Paraguay.
You’ll find plenty of wildlife to enjoy, from the millions of caimans to the hyacinth macaw and the capybaras to the jaguars.
4. Iguacu Falls
You’ll find Iguacu Falls at the Iguaçu River on the border of Parana, Brazil and Misiones, Argentina. Have you ever been to Niagara Falls in North America?
As majestic sight as that is, Iguazu Falls is almost twice as tall as, and close to, three times as wide as, Niagara Falls.
