Maduro alleges U.S. is funding unrest in Venezuela

Venezuelan President, Nicolás Maduro, has leveled allegations that the United States is fanning the flames of discord in his nation.

He asserts that the U.S. is funneling funds into right-wing political groups in Venezuela to incite violence and upheaval, aiming to cast a shadow over the forthcoming presidential elections.

He claimed that the U.S. aims to enkindle societal animosity and ignite a wave of violence, harking back to the turbulence of 2014 and 2017.

In his pointed accusation, Maduro contended that the U.S. harbors intentions to precipitate internal disorder in Venezuela, potentially setting the stage for an unwelcome foreign military intervention.

He underlined his determination to avert a repeat of the violent protests, which inflicted significant damage on the Venezuelan people and their security forces.

Maduro also issued a stern warning against any disruptive endeavors, stressing that Venezuela’s military and social sectors stand ready to preserve their right to peace.

He further instructed the Bolivarian National Guard to elevate their professional acumen with the finest global technology, safeguarding the nation’s prized assets: independence, sovereignty, and economic prosperity.
