Mexico is the world’s most popular destination for expats according to InterNations survey

In a recent survey conducted by InterNations, a provider of online services for individuals residing and working abroad, Mexico has emerged as a popular choice for foreigners.

The survey encompassed the opinions of over 12,000 individuals from around the world.

Expatriates residing in Mexico, which has consistently held a position in the top five destinations since the survey’s initiation in 2014, highlighted several factors that contribute to its appeal.

These factors include the amiable nature of locals, a vibrant cultural scene, and favorable housing options.

Spanish speaking countries make up 4 of the top 10 countries in the world for expats.

Additionally, Southeast Asian nations, namely Malaysia, Thailand, and the Philippines, have also garnered positions in the top 10 list.

Expats in these countries have emphasized the accessibility of travel opportunities and the affordability of living.

It is important to note that these findings are based on the perspectives of expatriates and should be considered as subjective opinions rather than absolute facts.
