Luedji Luna (Centro) – Bahian singer Luedji Luna will be performing this Tuesday in Sesc.

Luna will present her latest work, “Um Corpo no Mundo”, with compositions of her own, at 7 PM.

Indiana Nomma (Cinelândia) – Honduran singer Indiana Nomma will be performing tonight at Teatro Rival, in Centro.

Nomma and band will pay a special tribute to Argentinean singer Mercedes Sosa, touching the audience with the best from Sosa’s musical career.

Forró do Ganjah (Centro) – The Forró do Ganjah is back to Ganjah Lapa (photo) with Júlia Vargas and Forró de Pontuada.

The band will make partygoers dance to traditional and contemporary forró music. DJ Juan Motta will spin Brazilian hits during the breaks.

Bar Veloso (Leblon)
A stone’s throw from the beach, Bar Veloso is a bar styled after the bossa nova-era of Rio de Janeiro. Their feijoada is excellent, and they serve a variety of traditional Brazilian dishes and snacks. Expect slightly higher prices than usual, due to the prime location.

Shake Speakeasy Bar (Centro)
Run by the award-winning barman and mixologist Walter Garin, Shake Speakeasy mixes some of the best cocktails in the city in an inspired “hidden” location. Located in a shopping center a few steps away from the equally innovative Curto Café, Shake Speakeasy Bar may be a little hard to find, but its thirties ambiance and competitively-priced drinks make it well worth the trip.

Blue Agave (Ipanema)
Located just around the corner from Posto 9, Blue Agave in Ipanema is well known for great Mexican food, drinks, and for broadcasting live sports. Additionally, most of the wait staff and crowd speak English.

Dida Bar e Restaurante (Tijuca)
