São Paulo: deaths on the northern coast reach 54, and more than 4,000 remain homeless

The number of deaths due to landslides on the northern coast of São Paulo rose to 54, according to a bulletin released by the state government on Friday (24).

There were 53 deaths in the municipality of São Sebastião and 1 in Ubatuba.

So far, 16 bodies remain unidentified. Among those identified are 12 women, 13 men, and 13 children.
