Latin America’s largest agribusiness marketplace to feature Brazilian startup

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL – Agrofy Market, Latin America’s main agribusiness marketplace, sells tractors, supplies, financial services, parts, among others, and will now feature a Brazilian company negotiating technological solutions to enhance productivity, costs and profitability for producers.

ConnectFarm, from Rio Grande do Sul, which is still in the startup stage, will be the only company in this segment providing services to the field that may be accessed by the 600,000 registered users in 8 countries. It is one of 600 Brazilian companies included in this electronic negotiation platform founded in Argentina.

The agtech will join companies such as John Deere, New Holland, Toyota, Mercedes-Benz, Yara, BASF, Santander, and others on this e-commerce website.

Among Brazilian companies operating in the Agrofy Market, there are 17,000 products offered, with 1.3 million accesses and 24,000 monthly business opportunities, according to ConnectFarm’s data.

Brazil’s lead over the United States in online negotiations in the field is also gaining ground, according to McKinsey & Company data, at 36% against 26%.
