Dollar Hits 2019 Maximum, Closing at R$4.17 as Market Eyes GDP, External Uncertainties

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - The dollar closed slightly up on Thursday, August 29th after an unstable trading session, with the market keeping an eye on the Central Bank's actions, political and economic uncertainties in Argentina, and Brazil's second-quarter GDP (Gross Domestic Product) figures, which showed a 0.4 percent increase over the previous quarter.
