RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - On Tuesday, June 14, Brazil's Economy Minister Paulo Guedes said that while the signs of the world economy are extremely negative, Brazil is a positive highlight of the crisis.
"There will be turbulent landings abroad, but Brazil is taking off," he said during the opening of the Brazil 2022 Investment Forum, promoted by Apex Brasil.
For Guedes, there is "not the slightest doubt" that there will be a recession . . .
