Brazil opens investigation on Bolsonaro government’s responsibility in Yanomami humanitarian crisis

The Federal Public Ministry (MPF) opened on Monday (30) a procedure to investigate the responsibility of the Brazilian State in the humanitarian crisis of the Yanomami people in Roraima.

In a statement, the body said it intends to analyze "how the actions and omissions of managers and politicians may have contributed to the current situation of communities living in the Yanomami Indigenous Land".

The public agents were the target of representations made by political parties and civil society organizations forwarded . . .
