Arena MRV’s technology, like ticket-purchasing apps and facial recognition systems, played a key role.

Membership Programs

Tironi Paz Ortiz, CEO of Imply, commended Arena MRV as a technological marvel in Latin America. This stadium enhances fans’ experiences, attracting even more spectators.

Membership programs contributed significantly to the high attendance. For instance, Fortaleza’s members accounted for 60% of their total crowd.

Marcelo Paz, president of Leão, stressed the importance of such programs in fostering fan loyalty and engagement.

Revenue from ticket sales also reflected the success of modern stadiums.

Flamengo led with about R$ 69 million (approximately $14.08 million), with São Paulo and Corinthians following closely.

Modern arenas like Neo Química Arena and Allianz Parque offered unique fan experiences, boosting club revenues.

Alessandro Tomazelli, CEO of CIA do Tomate, noted these stadiums’ potential for multi-purpose use.

They offer activities beyond football, like children’s boxes and thematic events.

In conclusion, the 2023 Brasileirão season set new standards in fan engagement and financial success.
