Monday’s Rio Nightlife Pick – ViraLatiña does away with the clichés by playing them all on the dance floor. Try to travel the world to the Latin sound of a Puerto Rican reggaeton, a Mexican rock, rap a Cuban, a Colombian pop, ska an Argentine and Spanish flamenco to rock. Featured at Pista 3 will be the world of Latina. A new night in Rio, on Mondays.

Melt is one of the best spots in Leblon for a good time on a Monday night. On the bottom floor a nice lounge area, second floor has a dance floor. They have everything from samba to rock. Be sure to call ahead for the music selection.

Tonight has won public acclaim . A samba in Lapa that shakes the brilliant percussionists, a mixture of the band Zeca Pagodinho, depicting the trials of the blocks of the samba schools.

Orquestra Carioca (Lapa)
