Good news: Lima direct flight to Aruba

Experience pure culture in Machu Picchu and then relax on Eagle Beach!

The new direct connection between Lima and Aruba will open up new travel worlds starting December 2, 2023.

LATAM will connect Peru’s capital with Aruba three times a week, creating the best conditions for putting the icing on the cake for exciting round trips through South America with a Caribbean beach extension on Aruba.

For the Aruba Tourism Authority, this new route not only means additional potential in the source market of Latin America but also makes it possible to address new target groups from Europe.

Aruba belongs to the archipelago of the Dutch Antilles off the coast of South America.

It is an ideal destination for sun worshippers, water sports enthusiasts, nature lovers, and cultural vultures.

Those who have had their fill of the endless sandy beaches can explore the island with its flora and fauna or embark on a voyage of discovery into the colonial past.

The island can satisfy even the highest demands with outstanding gastronomy, an excellent infrastructure, and a wide range of accommodations.

For One Happy Island, this is already the second piece of good news in May: just a few days ago, the Hamburg Meaningful Tourism Center published its Meaningful Tourism Index for this year’s most sustainable destinations, in which Aruba landed first.

This ranks Aruba as the most sustainable destination in the world.

For the index, nearly 90 countries were ranked based on seven categories, including the democracy index in the country, local tourism spending, infrastructure development, illiteracy rate, gender equality, biodiversity, carbon dioxide emissions per capita, and progress in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals defined by the United Nations.
