Volkswagen launches the first automotive industry fintech in Brazil

In partnership with Volkswagen Financial Services, Volkswagen Brazil launched last Tuesday (4) a fintech focused on its ecosystem of dealers and partner companies.

Present in Brazil for 70 years, the company is the first mobility group to launch a digital financial platform.

Named VOU, the fintech focuses on serving Volkswagen’s business partners.

According to the company, the platform already receives companies (legal entities) of all sizes from opening their current accounts and accessing cash management products, such as anticipating receivables.

VOU foresees new financial management functionalities for companies and commercial establishments in the coming months.

According to the automaker, it transacts R$33 billion annually, and more than 2,700 companies are directly connected to its ecosystem.

“The way we transact money is changing, evolving, and Volkswagen invests in VOU as a new way to add value to its business and support partners.”

“We start by facilitating cash management, such as anticipation of receivables with competitive rates,” says Ciro Possobom, CEO of Volkswagen Brazil.

“Volkswagen Financial Services has in its DNA the mission of boosting access to mobility with solutions for vehicle ownership, use, and care.”

“Now, with VOU, we want to facilitate the day-to-day financial life of companies in a challenging moment of access to credit, in addition to exploring more opportunities for offering mobility, digital and inclusive,” adds Rodrigo Capuruço, CEO of Volkswagen Financial Services Brazil and South America.
