The return of former president Jair Bolsonaro to Brazil on Thursday, March 30, was not only a matter for the press.

Politicians from the left expressed the return of the opposition leader to the Lula government.

The national president of the PT, Gleisi Hoffmann, published a video addressed to the “genocidal”.

After talking about supposed advances of the new administration and making attacks, Gleisi says:

“Take the opportunity to explain to Justice the crimes that you are accused of having done in the government and the campaign.”

“You can come back whenever you want.”

“What will never return is the dark time when you made this country miserable.”

Congressman Lindbergh Farias (PT-RJ) tweeted without proof.

“Bolsonaro is not coming back because he wants to”

“He is coming back because the Federal Police subpoenaed him to explain the three packages of jewelry he tried to steal.”

The Minister of Institutional Relations, Eliseu Padilha, said that the reception to Bolsonaro “flopped,” despite images showing many people at the airport and the PL headquarters to see the former president.

Padilha also said, “those who want to create a climate of conflict will not succeed.”

Federal congressman Guilherme Boulos (Psol-SP) raised the tone when he announced the return of the “jewel thief” to Brazil.

President Lula has not spoken about Bolsonaro’s return to Brazil.

Today he avoided dispatching at the Planalto Palace.
