New flights to Argentina: airlines expand options and announce promotions

One of the favorite destinations for Brazilians, Argentina, will be more accessible in 2023 due to the significant increase in demand for flights to its tourist cities.

Aerolíneas Argentinas announced this Friday (10) eight new flights between the two countries.

Bariloche, for example, will receive daily flights from São Paulo during July – out of season, the connection is only made once a week.

Between April and June, Aerolíneas Argentinas will offer lower prices on the round trip from São Paulo to Buenos Aires via Aeroparque – for US$210 plus taxes (Photo internet reproduction)

The São Paulo capital will also have two weekly frequencies to Mendoza, Córdoba, El Calafate, Salta, Tucumán, San Martín de Los Andes, and Ushuaia – the city at the “end of the world”.

Nine routes and 36 add-ons (the “additional stops”) should still get promotional prices in preparation for the winter season when Brazilians visit the snowy destinations in Argentine Patagonia in large numbers.

CHEAPER TRAVEL

Before that, between April and June, Aerolíneas will offer lower prices on the round trip from São Paulo to Buenos Aires via Aeroparque – for US$210 plus taxes.

Those who want to visit Córdoba before the winter high season will pay US$220, Mendoza will cost US$230, and Bariloche will cost US$270.

The offers will also be extended to flights departing from other Brazilian capitals.

The round trip between Brasilia and Buenos Aires will cost US$250, and between Rio and Buenos Aires will be US$230.

Brazilians can also buy extra flights from the Argentine capital to 36 other destinations at lower costs: 18 airports, such as Córdoba, Mar Del Plata, and Corrientes, will be accessible for an extra US$50.

Another 18 terminals, such as Bariloche, Mendoza, Ushuaia, Salta, and Tucumán, will cost US$100.

These prices will be available up to 48 hours before the flight or until free seats run out and will be valid for trips ending June 30, always in class G, with the right to check one suitcase and carry-on luggage.

The company will facilitate the payment of the trips in up to 12 interest-free installments.

However, the discounts are not valid for groups of travelers and cannot be combined with other offers.

BRAZILIAN AIRLINE ALSO EXPANDS ITS NETWORK

In December, another Brazilian airline announced new flights to Argentina in 2023.

Gol resumed the weekly connection from Recife, Salvador, Maceió, Natal, and João Pessoa (with a stopover in Natal) to Buenos Aires, always departing on Saturdays and returning only on Sundays.

Gol still operates flights to the Argentine capital from São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, and Florianópolis.

Latam and Azul have not yet announced their plans for winter 2023.
