In an unprecedented act since redemocratization, the commander of the Brazilian Navy misses the change of leadership

In a ceremony held by the Brazilian Ministry of Defense that took place this Thursday, the 5th, former commander Almir Garnier Santos chose not to attend the site to participate in the traditional change of command of the Force.

This is because Marcos Sampaio Olsen had already said that he was appointed to the position on an interim basis by the new minister José Múcio Monteiro.

The decision not to honor the new commander of the Navy by the current server occurs in an unprecedented way in history since redemocratization.
