São Paulo governor must sanction the project that prohibits the requirement of proof of vaccination

The governor of São Paulo, Tarcísio de Freitas, must sanction the bill that prohibits public bodies and private companies from charging proof of vaccination against Covid-19, PL 668/2021, authored by 16 right-wing deputies.

As the project was approved on the last day before the House recess, it will go to Freitas’ hands.

The text of the project also establishes that “even with indication of health authorities, it is exclusively up to families to decide whether to vaccinate their underage children against covid-19, and it is up to the competent bodies to provide them with all information regarding adverse reactions.”
