The 16-year-old right-back Daniel Sales signed his first professional contract with Flamengo.
Acting for the club since June, the young man drew attention in the youth divisions and signed a three-year deal. The termination fine is worth €50 million, around R$277 million according to current quotations.
Daniel arrived at Flamengo after passing through the base categories of Ibrachina, the club that formed São Paulo team.
The good performance in the second half, at “Ninho do Urubú”, made the club rush to sign the athlete, who participated in the Flamengo title in the Adidas Cup.
The young man will defend Flamengo in the São Paulo Junior Soccer Cup. The team from Rio is in Group 5 of the 2023 Cup.
