Venezuela’s Maduro and Biden’s environmental delegate greet each other at COP27

The Biden Administration’s special delegate for environmental affairs, John Kerry, spoke briefly with Venezuelan dictator Nicolás Maduro during the United Nations (UN) sponsored summit on Climate Change (COP27) in Egypt.

A video posted on Twitter shows a smiling Maduro shaking hands with the veteran politician and former Democratic presidential candidate, with whom he exchanged a few words for a few seconds.

In the recording, what they are saying to each other is unclear. However, it can be seen how the Venezuelan dictator says goodbye to his interlocutor wishing him “luck”.

It is the second controversial video starring Maduro in just two days, as on Monday, he had an exchange with French President Emmanuel Macron in the same scenario.

Paradoxically, the leader of the Venezuelan regime is currently under indictment by the US Department of Justice for presiding over a narco-terrorist organization, a fact that has led to an alleged reward of US$15 million for information leading to his capture.
