Brazilian striker appears shaken after being left out of the World Cup

On Monday, 7, coach Tite of the Brazilian National Team announced the 26 names that will be in this year’s World Cup.

With some surprises and other casualties, the coach hopes that the names called will be enough since Brazil arrives as one of the favorite teams.

The big surprise for Tite is the presence of young Gabriel Martinelli from Arsenal, currently leading the Premier League.

The striker was the big surprise among the forwards that Tite called for the World Cup.

However, for Martinelli to be one of the squad, big names were left out, such as Firmino, from Liverpool, Gabigol from Flamengo, and Cunha, from Atletic, who was very upset after not being remembered by Tite.

Center forward of Atletico Madrid, Matheus Cunha, was one of the candidates to be Brazil’s number 9 in the World Cup.

The player competed with Jesus, Pedro, and Richarlison but was excluded from the 26 names. On social networks, the player emotionally thanked the support of Brazilians.

“To all of you who have not stopped sending messages, thank you. It was hard, painful, and that’s part of it.”

“Our team is spectacular, and the competition is huge. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your support, and let’s hope for the best,” he said.
