Gerson, who leaves Olympique, could be signed by a Brazilian club in the coming months

Ex-Flamengo, midfielder Gerson, 25, who had a great period with the red colors in Brazilian soccer, could return to Brazil in 2023.

In French soccer, it is almost certain that the player will leave the Olympique team at the end of this year.

Gerson left Flamengo a few years ago to experience a challenge on the old continent again.

After his peak in Fla, the player signed with Marseille Olympique and had a good time with Jorge Samapoli.

Currently, he is in a low, in reserve, and he will certainly leave OM at the end of this year or better in January when a new window opens in Europe.

In Brazil, Palmeiras seems to be the best choice for Gerson at the moment.

The São Paulo club is interested in the midfielder, as Scarpa’s days in Abel Ferreira’s team will be numbered.

Looking at the player’s departure, Gerson could come to fill the place of one of the best players in the country, who will play in the Premier League in 2023.

At the moment, Palmeiras is not talking to Gerson but is showing interest in the athlete’s soccer after the end of the Brasileirão.

“Our goal is to finish the season with the Brazilian title and then consider hiring him. Flamengo can be a target, but at the moment, according to the press, Palmeiras is the one that is ahead among the possibilities.”

A possible negotiation will not be easy despite the rumors linking Gerson’s name to Palmeiras.

Starting with Gerson’s salary, which is currently above the ceiling for any Brazilian club, and ending with the midfielder’s market price, estimated at over 20 million euros.

For an agreement to be reached, Palmeiras would need a great force of the athlete and the French club.
