The 33-year-old striker Keno could leave Atletico Mineiro at the peak of his career.
Despite being instrumental in winning the Brasileirão and Copa Brasil last year, he hasn’t started well for Minas’ team this season.
With only four assists in the 37 games he has played this year, Keno has not even talked with Atletico management about his contract.
In addition, his high vulnerability to injury makes the Mineiro club cautious about his retention.
For this reason, as the portal Torcedores.com has found out, Keno could leave Galo next season.
This is because coach Fernando Diniz, who will remain with Fluminense next year, wants to count on Keno in his squad, seeing in the player a good option for speed in attack.
According to the source, the Rio team is already preparing an offer for the player, which will be on loan, with the club spending “only” R$530,000 (US$100,000) to complete the deal.
Despite advocating the signing of Diniz, the Fluminense board is still hesitant to sign the player due to his high injury rate.
Nevertheless, the opinion of Diniz prevails, who will prepare a proposal for Keno by the end of the year.
