Tite “forgets” Gabigol and names 5 players that could wear the jersey with the number 9 of Brazil at the World Cup

The coach of the Brazilian national team, Tite, did not hold back when he named the five players who could be the big number 9 of the Brazilian jersey at this year’s World Cup.

The Seleção ranked first in the FIFA rankings, will go into the tournament as one of the big favorites, and whoever will wear the number 9 jersey will have a big responsibility.

Tite forgot to mention Flamengo striker Gabriel Barbosa, as his strike partner Pedro is one of the possible candidates for the vacant Brazilian number 9 at the World Cup.

The coach’s interview took place on the ESPN channel.

Pedro is the current top scorer in the Libertadores Cup and has become a regular under Dorival Jr. at Flamengo.

The excellent phase of the still young striker ensures that his name is again on everyone’s lips in European soccer, although Flamengo has no intention of selling him.

The last player to wear the national team jersey at the 2018 World Cup, Gabriel Jesus, was also mentioned by Tite.

The striker, who also plays on the sidelines, has changed teams this season and can see a big goal at Arsenal and secure a place in the cup once again.

Tite also wants to mention the names of Richarlison, who is considered the favorite for the “9”, and Roberto Firmino, who missed last season due to injury.

Finally, the coach named Matheus Cunha will be Atleti’s big number 9 this season.
