Guillermo Ochoa, one of the most essential and iconic names in the history of Mexican soccer, may be set to join Brazilian soccer in 2023.
The 37-year-old goalkeeper legend, currently under contract with Mexican Club America, continues to play at a very high level.
Ochoa is best known to the Brazilian public for his outstanding performances for the Mexican national team, especially during the World Cup years, and of course, for his distinctive hair.
However, the goalkeeper’s contract with the Mexican club expires, and he could move to Brazil in 2023.
Because according to journalist Jorge Nicola, the goalkeeper has shown his willingness to play in São Paulo for some time.
Nicola named Ochoa as a possible target for the Tricolore, which is looking for a new number 1 for next year.
Ochoa could sign with São Paulo at no cost because, as mentioned earlier, he is in the final stages of signing with Club America, the major Mexican league runners-up in the competition.
