Writers from more than 20 African countries will be present at the International Book Fair of Venezuela

Writers from more than 20 African countries will be present at the 18th International Book Fair of Venezuela, which will be held from November 10 to 20 in the center of Caracas, the capital of Venezuela, according to the Venezuelan Deputy Minister for the Promotion of Cultural Industries, Raúl Cazal, on Sunday.

According to the deputy minister, the entire African continent will be the “guest of honor” at this fair, which will be held under the slogan “Reading Makes You Independent.”

There will also be an international meeting with the Centre of Knowledge of Africa.

The official stressed that the International Book Fair is an event that brings together other arts in addition to literature and is, therefore “an expression of Venezuelan culture as a whole.”
