“The unipolar world as we experience it is crumbling,” Venezuelan Defense Minister Vladimir Padrino López said today at the closing ceremony of Army Games 2022 in the western state of Lara.
Padrino López also pointed out that the United States is “at an impasse” in its role as world hegemon.
During the “Army Games 2022” closing ceremony at Fort Terepaima in Lara, Padrino López congratulated the international delegations participating in the 12-day “borderland competition.”
“I am sure we will meet again next year to further strengthen our bonds of friendship and brotherhood,” the minister said.
Padrino López said the “Army Games” are an opportunity to “promote world peace.”
“No to war, no to imperial provocations,” the minister added, stressing that Venezuela is a nation that “deeply loves” the concept of sovereignty and independence.
