RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL – With an investment of more than 2,5 billion euros (2.5 billion dollars), the Maraey Rio de Janeiro project will employ 50,000 people who will build four five-star hotels and residential buildings.

Maraey, the largest residential and tourism complex in South America, located 45 kilometers from Rio de Janeiro, with a total investment of more than 2.5 billion euros, has just received the construction permit that will allow the development of a new concept of urban planning and architecture for sustainable development.

The project is managed and sponsored by the Spanish group IDB Brasil.
