RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL – The dollar reached an all-time high in Chile this Wednesday, July 6. At 11:37 AM, the currency reached CLP 1,000, according to the Chilean Electronic Stock Exchange (Bolsa Electrónica de Chile).
In the minutes following that peak, the currency – which closed yesterday at CLP 953.98 – continued to fall, dropping to CLP 994 at 11:41 AM and CLP 987 at 11:50 AM.
Within this same Wednesday, the minimum reached was CLP 954.50, while it averaged a total of CLP 968.48.
