RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - (Opinion) The left-leaning Brazilian Supreme Court of Justice (STF) today (1) reappointed Alexandre de Moraes to the position of Minister of the Superior Electoral Tribunal (TSE) for another two-year term.
The reappointment allows Moraes, declared arch-enemy of Jair Bolsonaro, to complete a four-year term in the Electoral Tribunal, the maximum term for members of the TSE.
Bolsonaro's most aggressive opponent is now the one overseeing the elections in October. Be prepared for backlash.
