Globally, 90% of people associate happiness with physical health, 89% with mental health, 89% with living conditions (water or food), and 88% with personal security. The factors least mentioned by respondents were moving to another country (46%), time to spend on social networks (48%), and the need for new political leaders in my country (57%).

In Chile, the factor that most influences people’s happiness is mental health, followed by physical health, and in third place, the feeling that life has meaning. Other aspects such as having children and the relationship with a partner appear far behind, as the 7th and 11th priorities, respectively.

Meanwhile, the three things that cause the least happiness for national respondents are time spent on social networks, material possessions, and the amount of time/money people spend on charity or helping others.
