RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL – Glowing fireballs were recorded in several regions of Brazil by Internet users who shared them on their social networks.
The videos were recorded between April 9 and April 13 in the Brazilian states of Goiás, Paraná, Santa Catarina, and São Paulo.
The first video was posted on April 9 in Goiás, where an Internet user pointed out that the object’s fall was accompanied by strong earth movements. “Here at home, everything is shaken,” he wrote.

The Alerta Mundial website also published another video showing a family trying to focus on the moon when they were surprised by the bright ball moving across the sky.

On April 11, a similar phenomenon was recorded in the sky over São Paulo, Paraná, and Santa Catarina by cameras from Clima oa Vivo and the Brazilian Meteor Network (Bramon).
And on April 13, another event occurred in the municipality of Anitta Garibaldi, Santa Catarina, recorded by the monitoring station at about 00:47.
So far, there is no official statement about the events in Brazil.
