MSC Cruises confirms five ships in Brazil, Argentina, and Uruguay

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL – MSC Cruises announced the details of the 2022/2023 global season, and in South America, five ships are expected to sail in Brazil, Argentina, and Uruguay.

In this way, it is highlighted that the ship MSC Seashore will sail in Brazil for the first time and offer a seven-night itinerary from Santos and visiting Maceió, Salvador, and Búzios.

MSC Seaview will be based in Rio de Janeiro for the first time, offering cruises from three to eight nights with different itineraries visiting Búzios, Ilhabela, Ilha Grande / Angra dos Reis, Ilhéus, Salvador, Uruguay, and Argentina.

MSC Fantasia will depart from Santos and offer a variety of three- to seven-night cruises with calls including Ilhabela, Buzios, Ilha Grande / Angra dos Reis, Montevideo, Punta del Este, and Buenos Aires.

MSC Armonia will focus on southern Brazil, departing from Itajaí and taking passengers on a seven-night voyage to Ilhabela, Uruguay, and Argentina.

Finally, MSC Musica will have Buenos Aires as its port of departure and offer a range of destinations in Brazil, including Ilhabela, Rio de Janeiro, Buzios, and Ilha Grande / Angra dos Reis.

The shipping line has also informed that it will have 21 ships sailing to more than 190 destinations in 85 different countries. In addition to South America, cruises will be through the Middle East, the Caribbean, the Mediterranean, and Northern Europe, with options ranging from mini-cruises to a 118-night cruise.

Two ship launches are also planned for next season, the first being MSC World Europe, the company’s first LNG-powered ship, which will be based in Doha for the World Cup in Qatar and then offer cruises to Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sir Bani Yas (United Arab Emirates), Doha (Qatar), and Dammam (Saudi Arabia).

At about the same time, the shipowner began operating MSC Seascape, the second ship of the Seaside EVO class. It will offer two different seven-night itineraries from Miami (USA) starting December 11, increasing MSC Cruises’ Caribbean offerings.
