Brazil’s Bolsonaro government is record holder in issuing land titles

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL – A historic day for the families of the Itamarati settlement in Ponta Porã, Mato Grosso do Sud state.

The first land titles were issued, beginning the process of titling and legalizing the 2,818 plots of the largest reform project in the state, launched two decades ago.

Only now do these farmers have access to various public policies, more opportunities, income, and the document that guarantees them ownership of their land.
