Brazil’s Eletrobras privatization hinges on shareholders’ approval and TCU’s decision

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL – The government aims to complete the process in the second quarter of 2022.

However, there are two pending steps: the approval of the shareholders’ meeting, scheduled for February, and the Federal Audit Court (TCU) decision, begun last year and expected to take place by March this year.
