RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL – The Economic Activity Index (IBC-Br) rose 0.69% in November, compared to October, a percentage already seasonally adjusted to compensate for possible differences between the periods, such as a higher number of holidays or weekends.
The data, a kind of preview of the Gross Domestic Product (GDP, the sum of all goods and services produced in the country) was released today (17), in Brasilia, by the Central Bank.
Despite the high, the quarter still shows a negative number (-0.79%), due to a previous sequence of declines, according to figures presented by the monetary authority.
