Favela Museum in São Paulo will share management of Rio’s Museum of Tomorrow

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL – The Institute of Development and Management (IDG), which manages the Museu do Amanhã (Museum of Tomorrow) in Rio de Janeiro and the Paço do Frevo (Frevo Palace) in Recife, will also be in charge of managing the Museu das Favelas (Favela Museum) in São Paulo.

The venue, which is scheduled to open in June 2022, will be located at the Campos Elíseos Palace, in downtown São Paulo.

The museum was proposed by CUFA (Central Única das Favelas) to the Secretariat of Culture and Creative Economy of the State of São Paulo. In addition to hosting exhibitions, the venue will include a training, entrepreneurship, and creative economy center.
