They are: Guarulhos (SP), Galeão (RJ) and Juscelino Kubitschek (DF). The goal is to encourage the immunization of those who arrive in Brazil. The date for the vaccination to start is the following Monday.

“I have already talked to the three municipal secretaries, from DF, Guarulhos, and the secretary from Rio de Janeiro. They all liked the idea, they found it interesting. We have a goal to start this vaccination on Monday. They already have the vaccines”, said the Health’s number 2.

The idea is to set up the space in areas with a great flow of people and at busy times.

“I have already talked to Anvisa and the Ministry of Infrastructure, through the Civil Aviation Secretariat, which will contact the airports so we can discuss the best space.

New rules for tourists entering Brazil will come into effect next Saturday. Those arriving from abroad by air, whether Brazilians or foreigners, need to present proof of vaccination against Covid-19, in addition to a negative test for the disease.

However, the proof of vaccination may be waived if the person makes a five-day quarantine after arriving in the country.
