Along with introducing his advisors, he indicated that “we want to ask investors to believe again that the future of Chile is promising if we do things right” and added that “there are people who had legitimate fears about the future of Chile, some of that is overcome with a more balanced parliament, not with a parliament that leans only to the left, today there is a political balance that is very important for us as a country.”

He remarked that “this will also make foreign investors have a different look towards our country of responsibility and seriousness.”

Kast stated that “our fundamental objective is to achieve the recovery of the economy and the reestablishment of macroeconomic balances, the commitment with a sustainable fiscal framework, where its maintenance is an indispensable condition for economic recovery.”

Kast reiterated that he wants his program to incorporate the views of a wide spectrum of visions focused on social urgencies and that all issues are open to discussion. He even called on members of the Radical Party and the Christian Democrats to join him.

Sebastián Calro said that “our work is just beginning, Chile’s fiscal situation is not easy, the responsible thing is to show that reality and our axes are to return to growth, stabilize and help Chileans.”

Patricio Rojas indicated that “fiscal sustainability has a central role and we must be realistic. It is possible to make this program more gradual” in areas such as taxation.
