Covid-19 in Argentina: 20% of the population remains unvaccinated

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL – 20% of the Argentine population remains unvaccinated. The data come from a survey carried out by the National Ministry of Health.

Almost two years after the appearance of the virus and 11 months after the beginning of vaccination in Argentina, 20% of the population has not received at least one dose of any of the vaccines against Covid-19.

In addition, 37% of the population did not complete the scheme, that is to say, they received only one dose against the coronavirus. To date, 81 million doses have already been distributed in the 24 health jurisdictions of the country.

The figures indicate that, up to November 23, 66,125,697 doses against Covid-19 were applied in Argentina. This means that 80% of the population in the country has received at least one dose of the Covid-19 vaccine.

As for the third (booster) dose, the National Ministry of Health report indicated that 1,122,429 people have had an additional dose and another 204,795 people have a booster dose (also third).

Thus, the panorama in Argentina shows that 80% of the population has received at least one dose, 63% has already completed the two doses, and almost 3% has a third dose.
