Marcelo D2 (online) – One of Cariocas’ favorite and most iconic music venues, Circo Voador is back, and an incredible line-up awaits for Brazilian music lovers who are currently in Rio.
Tonight, the house will present Marcelo D2. The famous Rio composer, who blends rap, samba, and other urban genres, will go up on Circo’s stage at 10 PM.

Sesc Jazz Festival (online) – The Sesc Jazz Festival goes on and, until the end of the month, will present the best from Brazil’s contemporary instrumental music scene.
This Thursday, Sesc will host a tribute to Tânia Maria, a Brazilian jazz singer and piano player from Maranhão who started her career in the 1970s, in Paris. She experiments with jazz, bossa nova, pop, and Afro-Latin music rhythms.
