Bank Inter partners with Qualicorp, will market health plans through an app

The initiative will allow Bank Inter’s more than 11 million customers to rent products from Qualicorp’s portfolio digitally. In the application, customers will be able to select group rates by membership with health plan operators such as Amil, Bradesco, Grupo NotreDame Intermédica, Hapvida, SulAmérica, and companies in the Unimed system, among others.

If the consumer does not belong to a professional association, they can digitally join a class association.

Initially, it will be possible to join seven entities associated with professionals, public servants, students, business consultants, administrators, lawyers, and jurists. Joining the other professional categories will require support outside of the app for now.

“Offering health plans is a big step that reinforces the transformation we are driving in the marketplace. Being able to offer quality medical assistance at a fair price, in a transparent way, and with just a few clicks, shows how present we are in people’s daily lives,” says Paulo Padilha, president of Inter Seguros.

Currently, Inter Seguros has over 500,000 insured customers and 17 insurance options, ranging from pet insurance and property insurance to traditional home, car, and life insurance.
