Amazon Prime offers free shipping on selected imported products in Brazil

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL – The American e-commerce giant Amazon.com announced on Monday, May 10, free shipping for a selection of imported products to its Prime service customers in Brazil.

The company said that the catalog includes thousands of products from around the world, including household goods, sports items, books, music, electronics, computers, pet products, beauty products, fashion items, and watches.

As the prices of products are in Brazilian currency, purchases can be made with payment slips or credit cards, with up to ten installments.

For products not immediately available in stock, the shipping time is two weeks, said Amazon Brazil’s retail operations leader Tiago Abel.

Prime is an Amazon subscription service, sold in Brazil with a monthly fee starting at R$9.90 (US$1.90).
