“It is necessary to get the country back on its feet and for that absolutely everyone is needed,” the president stated while launching by videoconference the first five modular healthcare centers out of 19 located in tourist cities in 11 provinces.

Fernández insisted, “in this task, there can be no ideological differences because the aim is to definitively improve the lives of Argentine men and women.”

On inaugurating the healthcare units, which will be dedicated to emergency care and primary care for patients with Covid-19 symptoms, the president assured that there were those who thought it was better not to invest in health amid the pandemic, leaving healthcare in private hands and abandoning millions of Argentines.

“What really matters is that in 2020 we have begun to repair this situation and that everyone has understood the importance of public health,” Fernández said.

The head of State stressed the need to put the human being at the center of the scene, the one who needs medical attention at some point in his/her life, so that no one feels helpless in the face of the adversity of illness.
