The Bolivian Ministry of Foreign Relations said in a statement on Friday, November 20th, that the previous decisions made by Bolivia’s interim government “to suspend Bolivia’s participation in the aforementioned integration spaces responded to purely political interests.”

The foreign ministry also reaffirmed the country’s commitment to Latin American integration as the only way to face the health and economic crisis caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.
